Machineheads have been changed for Klusons. comes with Gibson case.

When Gibson first introduced the LG models between 1942-1943, there were 3 separate models. The LG-1, LG-2, and the LG-3. Production on these models stopped quickly and was only continued after the war. The LG Models are essentially Student models featuring narrow 14 1/8" to 14 1/4" wide bodies, which is 2" narrower than a J-45. The LG models stopped production in 1962, being replaced by the B-25 and B-25N.

This 1954 Gibson LG3 features a Triple Bound Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides. The LG-3 was the highest appointed of the LG models, because of its X-braced Spruce Top as well as some of the other select appointments. Some other features of the LG3 are a Rosewood finger board and Rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a Natural Top Finish, and a Teardrop Tortoise pickguard.

This LG has a lot of punch and due to its narrow 14 1/8" wide body the tone of this guitar is focused with mid's that can cut through any mix. This guitar has dry woody overtones that only a vintage guitar could produce. Because of its X-bracing this guitar produces much more volume than you find on some of the other LG models that used ladder bracing. Finger picking blues enthusiasts, this guitar is a joy to play on, Alt country fans will flock to this one!
<!--amp.product-description.start--
This Guitar is a beauty! - original patina.
